It's hard saying good-bye to an institution. But that's what a lot of folks are doing in Ann Arbor. Angelo's Restaurant announced this week that it will close in December. The University of Michigan, which is on a buying spree lately, is poised to purchase the building over by the hospital campus at 1100 Catherine Street for $4.5 million. The university is also spending $75 million to acquire dozens of other Ann Arbor properties for the second phase of its Central Campus housing project, Sam Dodge reported this week.
