ANN ARBOR, MI – After weathering a particularly nasty ice storm in late February, Ann Arborites seemed nonplussed Friday by the nearly half foot of snow Mother Nature dumped on the area overnight. Southern Lower Michigan was under a winter weather advisory March 10, that spanned from Muskegon and Grand Rapids, to Kalamazoo, Lansing, Jackson, Ann Arbor, Flint, Detroit, Saginaw and Bay City. The National Weather Service recorded 5.1 inches of snow in Ann Arbor by 9:30 a.m. Friday, with snowfall tapering off early Friday afternoon.
